On November 13, 2025, we successfully hosted the Furiance Academic Seminar 2025 with distinguished guests Professor Jung-Hoon Chun from MIT and Professor Jong-Hwan Kim from the Korea Military Academy.

At this seminar, Professor Jung-Hoon Chun—one of the world’s leading scholars in advanced semiconductor processes and manufacturing innovation—delivered an in-depth lecture on key processes in Cu Chemical Mechanical Polishing (CMP), including dishing, erosion, and scratching, as well as the Uniform Droplet Generation Process.

Following this, Professor Jong-Hwan Kim from the Korea Military Academy presented his research on AI-based defense innovation technologies, including sensor data analysis for CMP equipment and failure prediction enabled by multimodal AI model development.
Attendees gained valuable insights from the professors’ expertise and groundbreaking research achievements, making the seminar a truly meaningful event.
